Project 2004-5
Our
Aims:-
- To open the door to education for hearing impaired
children in the developing world.
- Purchase Sound Seeker Solar Powered Hearing Aids
for children in areas with no access to replacement batteries.
- Work with Sound Seekers (also known as the Commonwealth
Society for the Deaf) to provide the hearing aids for one or more
of their field hospital programmes in Africa or India.
- Cooperate Internationally with Rotary Clubs overseas
and at home to attract a matching grant from Rotary Foundation.
- Act as coordination
point for all Rotary clubs wishing to join the project.
